The suspended axle comprises a pivoting axle fitted with two heavy duty vertically mounted coil springs and shock absorbing dampers mounted over the axles. The system also incorporates two integrated rubber buffers to absorb extreme shocks. The suspension is basically maintenance and service free, and requires no adjustments. Only two grease points require service from time to time.
The suspension provides a full 5" of travel with empty tank. As the load increases (full tank) the springs become more and more compressed. This, combined with the cushion from the specially designed rubber buffers, provides the characteristics of a progressive spring suspension for optimum sprayer and boom performance under all field conditions. It provides excellent suspension charcteristics both with an empty as well as a full tank.
