Whether you are a gardener, small farmer, wildlife manager, landscaper, operate a nursery or simply someone looking to break up the ground, the heavy duty frames and the heat-treated notched disc blades of Bush Hog's disc harrows make them the right choice for the job. The three disc harrow series are designed to fit tractors from 35 to 95 horsepower, giving you several choices to properly fit your tractor and application. Easy-to-adjust front and rear gangs allow you to change from light tilling to more aggressive cutting action with a simple pull of a pin and repositioning of the gangs. The sky, well actually the dirt, is the limit when using a bush Hog disc harrow to solve your groundbreaking needs.

  • Square and rectangle tube steel frames and gang tubes
  • Adjustable gang angles, front and rear, using an easy-to-grasp handle
  • Cat 1 standard and quick hitch on the 1D and 2D series, along with Cat 1 and 2 standard and quick hitch on the 3D series
  • 9" blade spacing on the front gangs for tough-to-cut "new" ground with 7½" blade spacing on the rear gangs for finer soil finishing
  • Self-aligning, sealed ball bearings
  • Notched disc blades for maximum cutting action
  • 1" square, high carbon steel gang axle on the 1D and 2D series, with a 1-1/8" square, high carbon steel gang axle used on the 3D series

HMG Hay Mowers



  • Bush Hog's four models of HMG hay mowers fit a large range of tractor sizes and hay production requirements.
  • The HMG mowers have been performance proven with reduced wrapping and plugging issues in heavy and light hay crops.
  • Cutter bar stiffness is critical in 7 and 8 disc models. The design of the HMG9 and HMG10 bar has a patented design that results in exceptional strength.
  • The oval shaped discs assist in the flow of material over the cutter bar, thus helping to form an even discharge of crop.
  • Lifting mower for turns is accomplished through the use of the mower bar cylinder and without use of the three-point lift.
  • The bearings in the oil bath cutter bar are sealed for reduced contamination and improved performance on inclines
  • Cutter bar ground pressure can be adjusted to follow a variety of ground conditions.
  • The outer swath board creates a cleaner space between cuttings, thereby eliminating cut crop overlap.

XLR Wheel Rakes



  • Bush Hog's XLRR-I wheel rakes feature the independent wheel suspension on each wheel for unmatched performance when operating in very rough or unlevel hay fields.
  • Independent wheel suspension allows each wheel to operate at correct ground load contact totally independent of each adjacent wheel. This allows eac wheel to follow ground contours.
  • The XLR rake features high performance in heavy crop conditions gained from high clearance of main frame and tongue.
  • The XLRR1022-I can be converted to an eight wheel rake by raising the two leading wheels.
